Mission: Die Hard: Chimera Edition (side posts)
Location: Michelle’s Working Quarters
Timeline: Twelve hours before arrival at Orgrann

Getting the ship ready for the baryon sweep was exhausting work, and it was leaving the First Officer absolutely drained. All week, Alexander Espersen had been working double-shifts-plus to ensure everything was perfectly in order, eating meals at his desk or while walking the ship and returning to his quarters only to fall asleep with a crash.

His exhaustion was affecting how he interacted with the crew. He had snapped at Erika for an innocent mistake that anyone could have made, though he realized it right away and apologized. Sakura recommended he take a break that evening. Fulvia even assured him that things would be in hand...and he believed her.

T'Vel had recommended the specific break: a massage. She had likely assumed either a holographic masseuse or someone through sickbay, but he wanted a more personal touch than what a hologram could provide and he refused to give Dr. Kellerman the satisfaction.

And so he found himself unclothed and lying face down on a massage table in Michelle Erilin's working suite.

"I'm so very glad that you could fit me into your schedule this evening," he told her.

Michelle smiled at his back from her perch straddling him, leaning over in just a bikini to knead his muscles with skilled fingers and pressure, spending a few seconds here to work out a particularly stubborn knot before reaching for the massage oil once again and applying some additional to her hands before rubbing them together and going after the knot once more, "I didn't have anything booked already, besides, I'll always make time for you, Alex, being the Executive Officer hath it's privileges."

“That it does,” Alex replied with a smirk. “Do you have any idea how much work it takes to get an entire ship ready for this kind of sweep? And do you know who gets to oversee all of that?”

"Clearly not the Captain, so I'm going to make an educated guess that it's you?" Michelle found another knot and got to work on it, pausing for a moment to lean over and plant a kiss on the back of his neck, "Of course, you can pawn most of it off onto your department heads and Jadizon, since they're going to have to be the ones actually doing the work. Why don't you just make them bring you updates to grump over say... Twice a day and then sit back and relax?"

He let out a long sigh. “I do trust them. We have a good, strong crew and they know their job well. But I can’t let it go. I need to see that it’s happening. And I need to be part of it.” He moaned as she worked out the tension of a particularly bad knot.

To get the right angle to release the knot, Michelle actually pushed down hard enough to lift herself off of him, but after a couple of efforts of the sort, the pop was audible and the sigh from him was palpable and audible, "I understand entirely. I'm going to have to borrow a couple of people to help me here, since I've been husbanding the real stuff that I managed to stock and put into stasis. Of course, nowadays I'm trying to use it all, but some of the alcohols won't be gotten rid of in time." She ran her hands up and down his back gently.

“I’ll make sure you have whoever you need,” he said. “You’ve got my back, I’ve got yours. Ohhhh that feels good,” he added. “Except one thing…”

"Oh?" Michelle rubbed her palms up and down the sides of his spine, evening out the pressure she had on those, "You can tell me anything."

“Well,” he explained, “I’m getting a little bit of chafe from the swimsuit material.”

Michelle laughed at the mention, not ceasing the rubbing on his back, "That's the first time I've ever had anyone complain about that." She shook her head from where he couldn't see her, but smiled as she did, not moving from where she was to pull the ties that kept the bikini bottom on her, then lifted her hips up enough just enough to pull it between her legs and toss it to the side before wiggling those hips up and down his butt, "That better?"

“Muuuuch,” he said with a relaxed exhalation. “When this is all over, and we’re back underway in a week or so, I have an idea for a drawing of you I’d like to do.”

"Want to tell me about it?" She asked as she continued to massage him, "I've always had a fair bit of fun when posing for you, all of before, during and after." Her voice grew into a suggestive husk before she giggled, "Plus, you really are an excellent artist."

“Thank you,” he said, sincerely appreciating the kind words. “I had two thoughts, both will need to be on the holodeck. One, I want you on a bench, sitting, turning slightly back toward me, with a sunset in front of you. I think I can do something interesting with those colours, with your figure in the foreground, and a bit of shadow.”

"A bit of mystery?" Michelle asked, nodding again where he couldn't see her, "Done with the proper lighting, maybe even with a bit of lighting to show my eyes." Her hands went up to the back of his neck and very gently ran her fingers along it before her thumbs massaged the spine directly.

“Mmmmmm,” he said, appreciating muchly what she’d just done, “the other involves a beach. Lying on the sand, gentle waves lapping at your feet. Wearing a specific necklace. It look great on you, and it would accent the composition nicely.”

"And in either of these scenes, what would I be wearing?" There was genuine curiosity and levity in her voice, "Aside from the necklace in the second that is?" She leaned back from her perch, reaching up to remove the bikini top before laying down flat on his back and giving him a full body hug.

“Exactly what you’re wearing now,” he said, smiling as she pressed herself into him. “Though maybe something wispy in the first one might be nice. Like a light scarf covering your front but not your back, partially hanging off the arm opposite the side your head is turned. Your back should be mostly bare though. Let me know when you’re ready for me to turn over.”

"And what makes you think I'm going to let you?" Michelle asked, teasing in her voice, "Or that I could stop you once you decided you wanted to. But, I was thinking that at some point, if you ever wanted to draw me in an evening gown, that could be a nice change of pace as well. Not that I mind posing nude for you, I have to say. Various states of dress can provide some allure."

“That’s true,” he agreed. “Now that you mention it, I have an idea for the beach one…” He turned his head. “Actually I would like to turn over now. There’s some tension here I need looked after.” He touched his jaw, especially where it met his skull, which on him tensed up a lot during stress. A massage of his face would do a lot of good.

She planted another gentle kiss on the nape of his neck before she slid off him and landed on the floor without a sound, patting him on the shoulder in her gesture to go ahead and flip over. He was greeted by her chest just above his head as it was at her stomach level, but she leaned over him to give him a very gentle kiss, "The jaw again? You really need to try to reduce the stress you're feeling, you're no longer a spring chicken, even if Kally is keeping an eye on your health. Stress can take it's toll very quickly."

"I've never been good at managing it," he admitted. "Just at finding very pleasant ways at relieving it." He chuckled. "Seriously though if you have advice, I'd welcome it."

"Make Aunt Cally do her own damned work." Michelle said with a smile as she rubbed her hands together briskly before reaching out to begin a jaw massage from where he could have a nice view of her, "She's being lazy because you enable her, you and the others. If you stand up to her, she'll grumble, she'll whine, but I figure she'll actually do it all the same and that will give YOU a little more relaxation time, or at least able to focus on one thing at a time rather than two."

“Hmmm…” he said, thinking over her advice as he enjoyed the view and the hands on his jaw. “Not a bad idea. I’ve been grateful for the learning experience but it has been a bit much. I could insist on taking less. Really I should be taking more time for things that relax me. I’ve started crafting again. It’s really helped.”

"And that's very important as well. I know you were making progress with your drawing, but what sort of crafting have you been doing?" She smiled down at him.

He smiled back. “There’s a small box on the table next to my uniform. Go open it and see.”

She leaned over to give him a kiss to the forehead before she walked deliberately over to the table, knowing he was watching her as she did. As she picked up and opened the box, the first thing she saw was the shimmer of silver followed by a sparkle of light reflecting off a blue-hued stone, "This is beautiful craftsmanship," She remarked, voice in some awe, "About as perfect a match for my eyes as I could hope for."

“The silver is replicated,” he explained. “But the sapphire, I made that, and then cut it precisely.” He chuckled. “Doctor Kellerman teases me about what I must be up to for long nights in my quarters alone, but making that was some of the best stress relief I’ve had in a while. I mentioned wanting to draw you in a particular necklace. It’s that one. I made it for you.”

She'd taken the delicate chain and expertly reached up to fasten the clasp behind the nape of her neck before she extracted her hair from beneath it and adjusting the sapphire from where it rested right at the V of her chest. She put on a coquettish smile before she turned around to face him, arms in to accentuate the cleavage for effect, "Does it look as good as you were hoping for?"

He smiled widely. “Even better. I’ll draw you wearing that, maybe also a light robe. All in pencil except for the stone and the eyes. Now, come back to me.”

"Of course." Michelle's smile was wide as she sauntered back over, "What should I work on next? Your chest?" She placed a hand on his chest, twirling with her fingers, "Your abs?" The hand went further down, pausing temporarily before moving again, "Or..."

“I think the ‘or’ is where I’m keeping a lot of tension right now,” he said cheekily. “As you can see.”

"I see, I see." She wrapped her hand around the source of the tension, "Let's see what we can do about this..."
