Mission:
Interim 3: Subspace Drift
Location: USS Chimera, Fiona's Quarters
Location: USS Chimera, Fiona's Quarters
Fiona walked into her quarters. She immediately started to unzip her jacket, when she looked out the window. Her mind was lkst in thoughts. It had been over 30 days since her unpleasant experience with Azrael. An now she had another guy hitting on her. At least those two were manageable. For the past 30 days she had to keep her captain focus on her duties and not her body.
The USS Chimera's Captain was definitely proving to be a unique woman with a unique command style. Strangely enough, she was starting to. Get use to all the chaos around them. She was not sure if that was a good thing yet.
Fiona stood there, staring out of the window looking at her own replacing and looking at the night sky. Well the universe in particular, she wasn't on the planet but she still liked her to the darkness as the night sky.
"Computer, play me a song, make it from the 21st century and Irish song. I am in the mood for something a little upbeat." Fiona called out, and she waited for the ship's computer to comply.
The computer started to play a classical Irish song from century time piece. She grinned, as she started to dance around the room. It was just and the song in sync with one another. For a brief moment, she forgot about the Captain and the doctor, cshr forgot about Azrael and now the new guy trying to pressure her.
In this very moment, she was alone and content with her life. Everything seemed perfect. No worries on her shoulders, nothing but her and the music. She briefly allowed herself a chance to smile.
Fiona listen to the music as she danced around, just letting the vibe just take her. She continued to dance alone in her room. The sudden revelation dawned on her, she knew she needed to find a new man. Somebody who is not interested in the captain, somebody who was around her own age. And somebody who would not be afraid to express themselves, and somebody who would not be afraid to allow her to express herself. He wondered if there was anyone like that on the ship.
The more she thought about it, she had to believe that there was somebody like that out there. And she had to believe that somebody like that was on this ship. She was a firm believer that things happened for a reason even though she didn't like being on the ship she knew she was here for a reason and it wasn't just because the Admiral told her to be.
In that moment, you feel very content. Even though she didn't have the answers right now, she felt like this moment was hers. She could finally let her guard down a little bit. She continued to dance, and sing along in their quarters as a scene starts to fade. Tomorrow the drama would begin, today was her moment and she was going to take full advantage of it.
