Mission: Interim 3: Subspace Drift
Location: Sickbay

Jadizon slept on, his body still beneath the blankets.

Somewhere behind his closed eyes, memories moved in fragments. Faces without names. Places without order. Questions without answers.

He tried to call out.

Nothing.

In the dream, he could feel the words in his mind. He knew what he wanted to say. He could hear his own thoughts perfectly.

But when he opened his mouth, there was only silence.

Jadizon tried again.

Still nothing.

Outside the dream, his brow tightened and one hand slowly clenched against the sheet.

Then even that stopped.

His face relaxed again, leaving no outward sign of the panic trapped somewhere behind his eyes.

He slept peacefully.

And said nothing.
